Topographical landscape sculpture from books

Posted by & filed under Art & Design, Inspiration, Modern Art. 5,505 views

Artist Guy Laramee creates art in unexpected places by carving landscapes right into the pages. As if by magic, his literary sculptures masterfully turn dense, dusty pages into mountains, caves, hills, fields and monuments. Every creation told him three days to three months to complete a topographical carving. He uses an array of tools from chainsaw blades to brushes and hand tools.
