DIY Digital Camera

Making a camera seems to be an impossible task, here we have an open source D.I.Y. digital camera created by Coralie Gourguechon. It’s assembled with cardboard and power by the famous open source Arduino. In case you haven’t heard of Arduino, it is an open-source electronics prototyping platform based on flexible, easy-to-use hardware and software. It’s intended for artists, designers, hobbyists and anyone interested in creating interactive objects or environments.

Craft Camera is a simplified D.I.Y digital camera.

It is established of a cardboard case and an electronic system run by Arduino. All the elements are Open Source, allowing users to master the use and the life expectancy, or to build it as Do It Yourself.

The simplification of the device allows to privilege the spontaneity in the recording. Photos are stored in a memory card, and can be displayed on the computer.
